All Lovely Stuff.. at SCP

Back from Bestival now! which was amazing, so many acts Hot Chip, the XX, Jonsi, Fever Ray and so many more. I didn't manage to see much of the Isle of Wight, but the atmosphere was really nice I loved dressing up, however ham and eggs is well and truly dead which is understandable due to such an intense weekend.

Anyway back to reality.. for the past two months I have been doing an internship with Ed Ward and Carl Clerkin, I have been helping out with their new brand All Lovely Stuff. The company will be selling homeware that combines function, personality and humour. The products are designed by Clerkin and Ward, the others are sourced from around the world and include a hook by Michael Marriot.

The designs are currently on sale at www.alllovelystuff.com and are also in SCP over the London Design Festival. Last night was their launch night, which had a really nice atmosphere and was very busy. Numerous designers such as William Warren, Michael Marriot and Jon Harrison were all there, showing their support. I'm really proud to have been involved in the company, as I feel it makes good design accessible to everyone as everything is the reasonable price of £25 and under. I believe All Lovely Stuff will be well perceived this week, as it offers people the opportunity to take away a part of the London Design Festival, standing out from the over priced elitist designs that usually heavily feature.

My favourite products are the MMM Doughnuts hook by Michael Marriot, Happy Chopper and the Chinese Scissors . Overall I think it is an inspiring collection, and I can't wait to watch it grow to become even lovelier.
